Castlewellan Show 2005

European Angus Breeders had a very enjoyable Castlewellan show on Sat 16th July 2005 . The task of judgeing the quality stock on the day was in the hands of Mr W Lawson from Perthshire Scotland , Mr Lawson who owns the renowned Windsole herds of Aberdeen Angus and limousin cattle found the cattle in every class of a very high quality.He found his champion a yearling bull sired by the noted Ronick Hawk he is owned by the Breed Secretary H McGaffin.

Reserve Champion was also bred by the Bannside Herd of Mr McGaffin a 11 month old son of the former Balmoral show Champion Ocean.

Opposite sex to the champion again bred by Mr McGffin was Bannside Betsy by Ryedale Orion.
